Rugby shorts: from backyard to playing field

The game shorts have much of the same adidas technology as our professional range we produce for some of the world's top teams. They're made from a combination of recycled polyester and elastane rip-stop. This has the dual role of giving you a snug and secure fit while resisting tearing. It's also a very lightweight fabric that provides breathability to help cool air circulation. Elasticised waists and drawcords keep our rugby pants firmly in place.

They make ideal training shorts for running or gym work, and they're great for casual games of backyard touch, tennis or you name it. They're made from a polyester dobby fabric that is soft and comfortable. Cut to a regular fit, our rugby shorts are suitable for everyone and sport the adidas Trefoil and 3-Stripes motifs. They also have moisture-absorbent properties and are breathable – both to help prevent sweat build-up.

Outdoor living on the casual side

We also have casual versions of these pants. They're made from a single jersey fabric that also has moisture-wicking abilities, but they have a Bermuda shorts design. The material is a combination of recycled polyester and sustainable cotton, so you can buy them with a clear conscience, too. They're really easy to take care of – you need only put them in a warm machine wash with a mild detergent and let them dry naturally.
