Kids Shoes Frequently Asked Questions
Children all grow at different rates, and sometimes children’s feet will seem to grow rapidly while at other times hardly at all. Younger kids’ feet can grow very rapidly and you might need to get a new size every 3-6 months, while after the age of 5 one pair of kids’ shoes should last almost a year.
It will vary from child to child, but as a general rule girls’ feet often stop growing around 14 while boys will stop at around 16.
Children’s shoes that are too small can cause a lot of problems, such as blisters and painful heels, as well as ingrowing toenails. It can also harm the development of their feet, so make sure you get the right size.
